The Ronald McDonald House® Family Room: Golisano Children’s at UK has welcomed families since 2009. Created as a place of comfort just steps away from a child’s care, our Family Room offers families and loved ones a quiet space to pause, rest, and regroup during long and emotionally demanding days at the hospital.
Open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., our Family Room is staffed by specially trained volunteers who help create a welcoming, supportive environment.
Just steps from their child’s care, our Family Room gives families space to breathe, regroup, and keep showing up for their child with strength.
Lunches with Love is our in-hospital meal program designed to ease one more burden for families spending long days at the hospital. Prepared by volunteers, these grab-and-go lunches include a microwaveable entrée, snacks, fruit, and a drink, and are distributed out of our Ronald McDonald House Family Room: Golisano Children’s at UK.
