Families of children 21 and under receiving treatment at local hospitals; includes parents, siblings, grandparents, or essential caregivers (max 4 people per room).
Rooms are first-come, first-served. New families must be referred by a hospital social worker or physician (online referral available). Background checks and photo ID are required for guests 18+.
Requests are placed on a waitlist by submission time. If no rooms are open at the time of referral, you’ll be contacted when one becomes available.
A $10 daily donation is suggested to help offset the approximate $125/night cost. No family is turned away for inability to pay.
The House is accessible 24/7/365; front desk staffed 7 a.m.–11 p.m. with overnight security.
The House accommodates 21 families with private rooms and baths, plus common amenities like play space, kitchen facilities, laundry, events, and quiet hours.
Furnished rooms with either twin beds or queen, private bath, phone, linens, and optional rollaway beds, cribs, or ADA-compliant rooms upon request.
Shuttle service is offered three times daily to medical centers, subject to volunteer driver availability and age/height restrictions.
Stays vary from one night to multiple months; the average is 15 days.
